Don’t abandon old friends, because newer ones are not their equals. New friends are like new wine; when wine ages, you will drink it with good cheer.
Every woman that is a harlot, shall be trodden upon as dung in the way.
Never abandon old friends; you will never find a new one who can take their place. Friendship is like wine; it gets better as it grows older.
Do not abandon old friends; new ones cannot equal them. A new friend is like new wine— when it has aged, you drink it with pleasure.
Do not abandon an old friend, for a new one will not adequately replace him. A new friend is like new wine; only when it has sufficiently aged can you drink it with pleasure.

Forsake not an old friend, for a new one does not compare with him. A new friend is like new wine; when it has aged you will drink it with pleasure.
Forsake not an old friend, for a new one does not compare with him. A new friend is like new wine; when it has aged you will drink it with pleasure.
Forsake thou not an eld friend; for a new friend shall not be like him. New wine is (like) a new friend; (after) it shall wax eld, and (then) thou shalt drink it with sweetness. [Forsake thou not an old friend; forsooth the new shall not be like to him. New wine a new friend; it shall wax old, and with sweetness thou shalt drink it.]
